This policy describes how SimulationLabs collects, uses, and retains account data and how you can exercise your privacy rights under CCPA/CPRA and FERPA.

Information We Collect

  • Account data: name, email address, role, and hashed password.
  • Usage data: account activity timestamps (e.g., last active).
  • Privacy request data: request type, status, and supporting details you submit.

How We Use Your Data

  • Provide and secure access to the simulation platform.
  • Respond to and fulfill privacy requests.
  • Maintain system integrity, auditability, and support.

Retention

We retain account data only as long as reasonably necessary and proportionate to provide the service.

  • Deletion requests: anonymization occurs within 90 days after approval.
  • Inactive accounts: anonymization occurs after 1 year of inactivity.

Your Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

You may request to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or opt out of sale/sharing. We do not sell or share personal information.

Submit a request using the Privacy Request Form or in your Account Privacy Settings.

FERPA Notice

If you are a student, account data may be considered part of your education records. You can review and request corrections via your account settings or the FERPA Notice.
